Diaper Need Awareness Week

September 26th - October 2nd

1 in 3 American families struggle with diaper need, not having enough diapers for their baby. Annually, Diaper Need Awareness Week draws national attention to this consequence of poverty.

You can help everyday by donating dollars or diapers. You can also lead diaper drives, discuss child poverty issues, or talk #DiaperNeed on social media. Let us know what you will do to help keep babies clean, dry and healthy!

Upcoming Activities

Whole Foods Market City-Wide Diaper Drive

Throughout Diaper Need Awareness Week you can drop off your donation of an unopened pack of diapers at any Whole Foods Market location throughout Columbus.

Diapers After Dark

Sponsored By Columbia Gas of Ohio

Come celebrate National Diaper Need Awareness Week at the Columbus Diaper Coalition's first annual fundraiser, Diapers After Dark sponsored by Columbia Gas of Ohio.

Hosted by the magical David McCreary. Our main event will spotlight Columbus' culinary superstars, Chef Sam Shore from Salt  & Pine and Chef David Trimmer from The Table, competing head-to-head "Chopped"- style. VIP ticket holders will be entered to win a seat in the judge's panel and one winner will sit alongside celeb judges, Monica Day from NBC 4 and Jami Goldstein from the Greater Columbus Arts Council, to determine the winning plate.

There will also be a raffle offering valuable prizes donated from area businesses that you will not want to miss! Doors will open at 6 p.m. and heavy appetizers from The Kitchen and non alcoholic beverages will be provided.  Cocktails will be available for purchase.

Parking is available in the lot directly across from The Kitchen.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Columbus Diaper Coalition and help countless families in need.
